Kylian Mbappe scored twice and provided three assists as Paris St-Germain kept their 12-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 with a 4-1 win at Lorient on Sunday. The victory moved PSG to 74 points after 32 games, while Lorient remained in 17th place with 33 points.
Mbappe opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area. He then set up Neymar for PSG's second goal in the 27th minute with a backheel pass that allowed the Brazilian to finish from close range.
Lorient pulled one back in the 42nd minute through Terem Moffi, but Mbappe restored PSG's two-goal lead just before half-time with a stunning free-kick from 25 yards out.
Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 50th minute with a header from a Lionel Messi cross. Messi also got on the scoresheet in the 80th minute with a low shot from the edge of the area.
